Wonderful Copenhagen & Gâité Parisienne

This unique dance double bill presented by students of Corrib Dance Academy, begins with ‘Wonderful Copenhagen’ which is inspired by the tales of Hans Christian Andersen and features excerpts from the children’s classics, ‘Thumbelina’, ‘The Ugly Duckling’, ‘The Steadfast Tin Soldier’ and ‘The Little Mermaid’.

‘Gâite Parisienne’ is based on a nineteenth century ballet with a French flavour and has been further developed to include character, jazz and tap alongside classical ballet to showcase the versatility of the Academy’s talented students.
