Spring Awakening
A musical adaptation of the controversial 1892 German play of the same name by Frank Wedekind with music by Duncan Sheik and book and lyrics by Steven Sater.
This Tony Award winning musical is set in 18th century Germany and follows a group of adolescents as they discover their sexuality and the consequences of their ignorance. The hard hitting story is accompanied by a beautiful score ranging from punk to soft folk rock.
