A stellar line-up of food enthusiasts, chefs, and restaurateurs will descend on Galway later this year, with preparations well underway for this year’s Food on the Edge event.
The two-day symposium runs from 24-25 October this year and will take place in the Town Hall.
Speaking at Aniar, founder of Food on the Edge, Jp McMahon said the coming-together of top international chefs and food leaders for the two-day event in the city is important.
“The aim of the symposium is to create a benchmark for best practice in terms of food, culture and the people who produce it.
“I really believe that chefs everywhere have a responsibility to be the avant-garde of food education, whether in the context of fine dining or street food. We all need to eat better and in order to do this we need to debate this on an open platform.”
