The Music for Galway 30th Anniversary Fundraising Gala, a glittering event celebrating all that is best in music in Ireland West and beyond, will mark three decades of international concert seasons in Galway

Becoming widely known for his stage acting and energetic character portrayal, Rodion Pogossov, the sensational Russian baritone features regularly in the MET Opera line-up in New York. Recent engagements have included Figaro in 'Il Barbiere di Siviglia', Malatesta in 'Don Pasquale', Harlequin in 'Ariadne auf Naxos' and Papageno in 'Die Zauberflte'.

Evelina Dobra?eva is a highly sophisticated singer whose dramatic artistry captivates her audience. She has been on tour to Japan with the Deutsche Staatsoper (Donna Anna in 'Don Giovanni') conducted by Daniel Barenboim, has sung Margarita Songs by Lokshin with the Virtuosi Moskvi conducted by Rudolf Barshai, Beethoven 9 conducted by Alexander Anissimov and Emma in 'Khovanshina' at the Bayerische Staatsoper.

Dearbhla Collins is regarded as one of Ireland's finest and most versatile musicians. As well as being an accomplished and prize-winning solo pianist with a distinguished performing career nationally and internationally, she is respected equally as chamber musician and vocal coach. In recent years Dearbhla has specialised in the song repertoire and appears regularly in concert with singers such as Regina Nathan, Franzita Whelan, Detlef Roth and Jean-Marc Salzmann.
