Renmore Pantomime

Jack And The Beanstalk

Town Hall Theatre

This show is now over. Please see our full listing for other shows you might enjoy.

Directed By Brian and Seán Power
A new script by Peter Kennedy

With a script specially written by Peter Kennedy, Renmore’s 37th annual pantomime promises to be a spectacular adventure of laughter, music and song.

The traditional tale of Jack and the Beanstalk is brought to life with some novel twists. The local Variety Theatre is threatened with closure, as the wicked Landlady tells the performers that there will be no pantomime this year! Jack faces a dilemma, and must sell the legendary Dancing Cow in the hope of raising enough money to save the theatre. But all is not lost! A magic Beanstalk leads Jack to a fortune and helps him overcome an evil Giant who has terrified locals for years.

Well-known Galway performers, electrifying dance routines, and the charming little Renmore Smurfs bring sparkle to this seasonal feast of family entertainment, directed by award-winning twins, Brian and Seán Power.

**There will be a Sensory Friendly performance of Jack and the Beanstalk on Sunday 3rd January at 12 noon**
(Please note bookings for this performance are by phone or in person only)
