Albert Lee, the living guitar legend, the reliable Sideman, now amazing bandleader.

On tour, with his handpicked band, he always wins new fans and gives the old loyal fans finally what they always wanted - Albert Lee as Albert Lee.  Albert will be touring with his hand picked band of excellent musicians.

Albert Lee played with artists like the Everly Brothers, with Eric Clapton, along with Emmylou Harris and Joe Cocker's band and from Jackson Brown to Bo Diddley to Herbie Mann. His most acclaimed performance, however, was Eric Clapton's "Just One Night "and the following tour.

When the Everly Brothers were reunited for a concert, a live album and a video Albert was there.

Lee's solo career lasted through the late 1980s with "Speechless" (1987) and "Gagged but not Bound" (1988), both published by MCA and highly praised by critics. In the same year, Castle Records released an Albert Lee retrospective compilation "That's All Right, Mama". A second Sugar Hill album, "Roadrunner" was released in 2006. Albert's latest release for 2015 includes the "The Highwayman" CD and the live "70th Birthday Celebration" DVD. Not only is Albert Lee featured on this double disc set, but also glorious performances by Bill Wyman, Dave Edmunds, Gary U.S. Bonds and other great artists. A fantastic presentation of Albert's current performances. Furious guitar fire and unique voice - in short - Albert Lee performs his favorite songs.

Albert Lee is a two-time Grammy Award winner, won with Brad Paisley and Earl Scruggs, and was nominated three more times. Albert was also a member of the UK band Hogan's Heroes, and spent many years touring with Bill Wyman's band, the Rhythm Kings. In his fifth decade as a professional musician, Lee has risen to the ranks of the truly rare virtuosos of his time, respected on three continents and lives the professional life that most of his colleagues could only dream of.
