Ready?
Let’s run, play, hide.
Follow me. Don’t get lost.
I will stick by you. If you will stick by me.

Together these new pals explore the limits of friendship and boundaries with hilarious, and at times moving, consequences. A non-verbal, physical performance that delights young and old alike.

Jabberbabble is a show about four birds and one nest. What happens when birds of different feathers flock together?

Nobody understands the jibber jabber lingo at first. But in time, they find ways to communicate, even if they don’t speak the same language. Maybe, before long, they won’t be strangers anymore but will find a way to make room for one another.

A delightful show that is entirely sung, as it should be with birds!

Baboró celebrates two fine illustrator-authors, Tatyana Feeney and Mary Murphy, in a unique exhibition of prints from some of their most popular books.

Tatyana’s illustrations are created by using a combination of monoprinting with watercolour, collage and digital media. Her books explore themes common to many children through her quirky characters and vibrant images.

Mary's brightly coloured work speaks to babies and toddlers through its simplicity and warmth. She uses a combination of hand-drawn and digital techniques to create a distinct visual style that encourages adults and children to explore her work together.

Using the geography of the imagination as a starting point, Jennifer Cunningham explores how a child’s imagination is a place of freedom and play, of resilience and strength; a safe space from which to explore and make sense of the world. In Jennifer’s imaginative world, abandoned fairgrounds and derelict spaces evoke the faded magic of childhood possibility.

This playful exhibition of drawings, paintings and sculptures is complemented by a display of dioramas by children from Gaelscoil Iarfhlatha, created as part of Jennifer’s research.
