Anna Carmody is an Irish singer songwriter and guitarist, born in Galway and raised in Offaly.
A newcomer in the music scene, Anna surprisingly just wrote her first song in December 2019 but she has quickly gained traction with over 5,000 active fans on her facebook page in just 6 months: https://www.facebook.com/AnnaCarmodyMusic/. Collectively Anna has received over 85k views on her music videos on facebook with over 31k views on her debut single 'Million Pieces'.
Anna's tracks are produced and mixed with Irish music producer Robert McLeod (Universal, Grapevine Records, Bwitched) and worked with the likes of Alex Gordan (Kate Nash, Sigrid) at the world famous studio Abbey Road, when mastering her debut album.
In her music career infancy, Anna has managed to catch the attention of the Connacht Tribune, Galway and This is Galway Facebook page with 97k people reshared her song she wrote about Galway; ‘Adventure Alone’. Anna made the main interview for Ann-Marie’s Roadhouse Cafe on Midlands 103 with her recent single; ‘Summer Air’. Anna has received some strong reviews from the likes of Hot Press who added Anna to their Spotify tracks of the week playlist after having Anna on to play in their Young and Rising Instagram Lockdown series.
