Also for Roaring is a catfish banana. A puff of powder. An excruciating silence. A hilarious performance experiment about three people trying to make sense of the modern nightmare world.
Veering between desire and disillusion, they ponder whether it makes more sense to accept or reject the Strokes status quo, or whether it’s easier just to dance. To make up words. To vatch cat videos. To gather inspirational quotes. To craft our own tiny kingdoms of order.
This is a performance for anyone who has wondered about their own potential. Who has found themselves staring into a screen screaming thinking ‘what am I actually doing?’ Who enjoys a steaming side of provocation with their tepid bowl of entertainment. Inspired by the Dadaist movement, Also for Roaring upends some conventions of traditional theatre by playing with collage, mistimings, absurdity and a strict rejection of Alanis Morisette logic.
