Cruinniú na nÓg 2021 has been confirmed for June 12th, this is a national day of free creativity for children and young people.
This year the voice of children and young people is the focus, their voice should be heard in both the development and delivery of the Cruinniú programming. The aim is to strike a balance between delivering on children’s suggestions and providing new and exciting opportunities for children. At our last Creative Ireland Team meeting it was agreed that Cruinniú na nÓg would be based around the theme of climate change but also taking into consideration what the young people of Galway want.
In order to hear the voice of children and young people, Creative Ireland have shared The Chatbot this is a useful support that the children and young people can simple click and tell us what creative things they like to do. The Creative Ireland Programme checks the responses and shares with the relevant local authorities for consideration in the programme.
