Hello and Happy Easter from all at the Town Hall Theatre. We have a superb line up of events taking place in the next 4 weeks and we would love to have you join us for some of our theatre and music, comedy and magic, film and family-friendly events! Visit www.tht.ie for details on all our upcoming events and follow us on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram for news and reviews.
Our exciting line up for the second half of April and the first half of May includes inspirational and uplifting theatre from Mark Smith with his critically acclaimed production Making A Mark, Paddy Cullivan with his hugely popular show The Murder of Michael Collins, Decadent Theatre with their cutting edge production of David Harrower’s award-winning drama, Blackbird, new writing by Rena Bryson from East Side Theatre and of course the annual Galway Theatre Festival which this year runs from 29 April to 7 May.
To help make us laugh, we have brand new stand up from County Down's finest Patrick Kielty, work in progress from Kevin Bridges, punk poetry from John Cooper Clarke, a very special night out with Keith Barry and family events including an early evening show from Club Shine
And we have beautiful music from the absolutely amazing Irish Memory Orchestra, a special evening with Celine Byrne & Guests for Let’s Get Talking, Frank McNamara with his talented son JJ, acclaimed Slovakian violinist Vladimir Jablokov and Galway’s favourite tenors Sean Costello & Frank Naughton
And there is more, much more music from Declan Nerney, Johnny Duhan with special guest Eleanor Shanley, Stockton’s Wing, Marc Roberts, and a trip down memory lane with Reeling In The Years.
And as if all the above wasn’t enough, don’t miss Menopause The Musical 2 (the hysterical sequel and the ultimate celebration of women and ‘the change’ you’ve all been waiting for) and Friends! The Musical Parody celebrating and poking fun at the wacky misadventures of the group of 20-something pals we love from the hit TV show as they navigate the pitfalls of work, life, and love in 1990’s Manhattan.
And we’re adding new events daily to our line-up later in the year, for more visit www.tht.ie
We look forward to seeing you soon! And please note that whilst use of face masks is no longer mandatory, patrons who wish to continue to wear face masks in our theatres are more than welcome to do so. And please also note a number of subtle Covid-19 mitigation measures remain in place in both Town Hall and Black Box to help keep everyone safe.
