Druid Theatre will revisit Samuel Beckett’s canon for this year’s Galway International Arts Festival when Endgame will be staged in the city’s Town Hall Theatre from July 5-28.
Directed by Garry Hynes, it follows the company’s acclaimed production of the renowned playwright’s Waiting for Godot in 2016.
Endgame is the tragicomic tale of a man living with his parents and his servant in a world beyond time and place. With nowhere to go and nothing much to do, they spend their days telling stories and contemplating the absurdity of life.
