Beckett, Friel, Murphy, and O’Rowe works top the bill in a busy lineup for July, August and September
Comedian, actor, author and presenter Graham Norton, actress extraordinaire Marie Mullen and mentalist and magician Keith Barry are just some of the big names of the Irish theatre and entertainment world featured in the Town Hall’s Summer/Autumn lineup.

Tickets for all Town Hall and Black Box performances, screenings, and events in the July to September period are now on sale.
Theatre highlights in July include Druid Theatre Company with their production of Samuel Beckett’s Endgame directed by Garry Hynes and starring Marie Mullen, and the Landmark/Galway International Arts Festival world premiere of Mark O Rowe’s play Reunion featuring a roll call of Ireland’s finest actors including Cathy Belton, Catherine Walker, and Robert Sheehan. And in September, Druid returns to present a brand-new production of The House by Tom Murphy directed by Garry Hynes and Decadent bring us their much-anticipated production of the Brian Friel classic Molly Sweeney, directed by Andrew Flynn.
July kicks off with the 36th Galway Film Fleadh featuring the very best of new Irish cinema (with 100+ screenings including the Fleadh’s critically acclaimed opening film Kneecap) alongside award-winning films from around the world.
The Town Hall Summer/Autumn schedule features fantastic musicals from each of Twin Productions (with Disney’s Beauty and The Beast for all the family), and the Morgan Brothers (world premiere of For The Lack of Laura by Kurt Rosenberg). An eclectic music programme includes a special anniversary performance of the acclaimed Bird On The Wire featuring the songs of Leonard Cohen and flamenco sounds and dance from Daniel Martinez. Very special book, spoken word and podcast events from Graham Norton, David Mc Williams and Niall Bressie Breslin and comedy from Serena Terry, Kyla Cobbler, and Garron Noone add further excitement – and craic - to the lineup, with eclectic film events presented by Little Cinema/Galway City of Film and Architecture on the Edge Festival making this season one to remember.
