GALWEGIANS AGED from 10 to 12, who want to design video games, and learn what is involved in developing a game from concept to design, will have a chance to do so at a workshop in September.
The workshop will be given by the award winning, Galway based company, Romero Games, in the Meyrick Hotel, Eyre Square, on Sunday September 30. It is hosted by the Baboró International Arts Festival for Children and sponsored by SAP.
Romero Games has been based in Galway since 2015 when founders John and Brenda Romero relocated from Silicon Valley, California, John Romero is co-creator of such titles as Wolfenstein 3D, DOOM, and Quake, and has won more than 100 awards for his work.
